Lead ingots are divided into large ingots and small ingots. The small ingot is rectangular and trapezoidal, with a bundling groove at the bottom and protruding ears at both ends. The large spindle is trapezoidal, with a T-shaped bump at the bottom and gripping grooves on both sides.

Trademark

Lead ingots are divided into 5 grades according to their chemical composition. The most commonly used refined lead on the market is Pb99.

The unit weight of small ingots can be: 48kg±3kg, 42kg±2kg, 40kg±2kg, 24kg±1kg;

The unit weight of large ingots can be: 950 kg±50kg, 500 kg±25kg.

Packaging: Small ingots are bundled and packed with packaging tape that is not easy to rust. Large ingots are supplied as bare ingots.

Transportation and storage

1. Lead ingots should be transported by means of transportation without corrosive substances to prevent them from being exposed to rain.

2. Lead ingots should be stored in a ventilated, dry, and corrosive-free storage room.

3. During the transportation and storage process of lead ingots, the white, off-white or yellow-white film formed on the surface is determined by the natural oxidation properties of lead and is not a basis for scrapping.
